NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the County of Lake Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 22, 2024, no earlier than 9:05 a.m., in the Lake County Board of Supervisors Chambers, located on the first floor of the Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA for consideration of a proposed Use Permit Extension (UPX 24-01); CEQA Exemption (CE 22-12), to approve an extension for UP 22-06 to allow for four (4) 197’ tall temporary meteorological towers on two parcels.

Applicant: Morgan Valley Wind Farm LLC; Location: 25650 Morgan Valley Road and 10888 Rocky Creek Road, Lower Lake (012-014-02 and 012-014-08).

The hearing will take place both in-person and via Zoom.

The agenda, Zoom information, staff report, and attachments will be posted online a minimum of 72 hours prior to the hearing on the County’s website at: https://countyoflake.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Zoning Administrator of the County of Lake, State
of California will consider approving Minor Use Permit (MUP 24-01) with no public
hearing on Wednesday July 10, 2024, unless a written request for a public hearing
is submitted on or before July 3, 2024, by 5:00 p.m. to the Community Development
Department Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport CA. Should a timely request for a
hearing be filed, a public hearing will be held on July 10, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., in
Conference Room C, 3 rd floor of the courthouse, for consideration of proposed Minor
Use Permit (MUP 24-01) for an addition to an existing dwelling with reduced front-yard

Shade Canyon School will hold a Public Hearing for the Proposed Budget and Annual Update of the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) for the 2024-25 school year, prior to final adoption as required by Education Code Sections 42103 and 52062.

Members of the public are cordially invited to attend this meeting and to offer recommendations and comments regarding the specific actions and expenditures proposed for inclusion in the LCAP. 

The proposed updates to the LCAP and Proposed Budget will be on file and available for public inspection at Shade Canyon School main room prior to the Public Hearing.
