ADOPTION OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 21, ARTICLE 27
OF THE LAKE COUNTY MUNICIPAL CODE FOR COMMERCIAL CANNABIS USES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Lake Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing to consider adoption of an ordinance to amend Chapter 21, Article 27 of the Lake County Municipal Code on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 no earlier than 11:00 a.m. in the Lake County Board of Supervisors Chambers, located on the first floor of the Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, California 95453. The proposed ordinance would amend various sections of Article 27(at) for commercial cannabis regulations, including but not limited to the following topics: setbacks; commercial canopy size limitations and calculations; application processing procedures and requirements; background clearances; record retention; commercial cannabis cultivation exclusion areas and development standards; and operational hours.
ALL INTERESTED PERSONS are invited to be present at the public hearing. The hearing will take place both in-person and via Zoom teleconference. The Agenda, including Zoom information, the staff report and attachments, will be posted online a minimum of 72 hours prior to the hearing on the County’s meeting calendar webpage at: https://countyoflake.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx.
The staff report and attachments may also be viewed at the Board of Supervisors counter during regular business hours 72 hours prior to the hearing. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the County of Lake Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 9:35 a.m., or soon thereafter, in the Lake County Board of Supervisors Chambers, located on the first floor of the Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA for consideration of request for a recommendation of approval to the Board of Supervisors of a Resolution to Establish Standards for Agricultural Roads. 

The hearing will take place both in-person and via Zoom.

(APNs 008-031-20, 008-031-44, and 008-031-17)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the County of Lake Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, February 12, 2026, no earlier than 9:05 a.m., in the Lake County Board of Supervisors Chambers, located on the first floor of the Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA for consideration of a proposed Zoning Map Amendment PL-25-101 initiated by the Community Development Department to correct the zoning district of the parcels to reflect the “PDC” Planned Development Commercial base zoning consistent with the 2008 General Plan “I” Industrial land use designation. 

There is no proposed development associated with this zoning map amendment.
