LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Ray Pato, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, was called home to heaven on Nov. 22, 2025, at the age of 85.
He passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family: his devoted wife, Fran, and his children, Rufino and Anita.
Ray's life was defined by kindness, patience and joy. He never raised his voice nor lost his temper, and his steady support and pride in his family were constants throughout his life.
He had a deep affection for animals of every kind and found happiness in simple pleasures – boating, fishing and never passing up the chance to dance.
For most of their married life, Ray and Fran worked side by side, successfully running their janitorial business with dedication and importance.
Ray and Fran shared nearly 61 years of marriage, a testament to their enduring devotion and love. Together, they built a family rooted in warmth, generosity and care.
Ray leaves behind his wife, Fran; his children, Rufino and Anita; two cherished granddaughters, Christina and Nicole; and five adored great-grandchildren, Justin, Jace, Amelia, Olivia and Hudson, each of whom carries forward his legacy of love.
Though his passing leaves an empty space in the hearts of those who loved him, Ray's spirit continues to guide them. His life reminds us to hold our loved ones close, to say "I love you" often, to give generously to our communities, and to strive always to be good human beings.
A private celebration of life was held with immediate family to honor Ray, who blessed those around him with love, laughter and cherished memories every single day.

Antonio Moreno
1950-2026
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved, husband and father, who left us peacefully on Jan. 24, 2026.
Antonio Salas Moreno, affectionately known as "La Pajara," was born on Nov. 20, 1950, in Cojumatlan, Mexico to loving parents Eliseo and Rosario Moreno.
Antonio was a devoted husband, loving father, adoring grandfather and generous friend. He was a man whose compassion and strength touched everyone around him. He lived his life humbly with integrity, kindness and an unwavering devotion to his family. Those that knew him will remember his warm smile, great sense of humor, over generous heart, constant singing, and his steady presence that brought comfort and joy.
His hobbies and interests helped define who he was. His love for horticulture, outdoors and soccer was something he shared with all, leaving a mark on us that will never fade. He spent any and all free time outside working with his tools or in his garden yet he never missed a Chivas game. He enjoyed planting all kinds of crops, flowers, and had a talent for grafting fruit trees, yet he felt the most happiness sharing his harvest with all his family, friends and neighbors.
Throughout his life, Antonio worked hard to provide for those he loved and always offered guidance with laughter and love to those fortunate enough to know him. He always bragged about his children and how proud he was of them. His grandchildren brought him so much joy and gave him the strength to live happily during his challenging last years of life. His legacy of tireless hard work, love for family, passion for gardening, perseverance, and faith will continue to live on through his family and friends.
We love and will miss you immensely. You were always someone we could count on. We thank you for all the calls, wise words of advice (wanted and unwanted), how you gave us everything you could even when there wasn't much to give, and your boundless love for us. Though you may be gone from our sight, your love and light will never fade from our lives. We will forever keep you in our hearts with God. We find comfort in knowing that you are finally at peace and that your legacy will live on through all you taught us and the memories we will cherish forever.
Antonio is survived by his wife, Lilia Moreno; son, Tony and daughter-in-law, Lupe Moreno; daughter, Liliana and son-in-law, Stephen Gleason; daughter, Rosa Moreno; his grandchildren, Jessica, Julissa and Ayden Moreno; Carly, Tiana and Brody Gleason; and Cash Moreno; his brother, Luis Moreno and sister-in-law, Olivia Pulido; and sister, Teresa and brother-in-law, Jesus Villa.
A visitation will be held at Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary on Thursday, Feb. 12, from 4 to 6 p.m. and a Rosary service at 6 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church on Friday, Feb. 13, at 11 a.m. followed by Interment at Hartley Cemetery.
