NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the County of Lake Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, April 25, 2024, no sooner than 10:10 a.m., in the Lake County Board of Supervisors Chambers, located on the first floor of the Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA for consideration of a proposed Major Use Permit (UP 22-14), and Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS 22-13), for commercial cannabis cultivation including 51,060 sf of outdoor cannabis canopy and a Type 13 Cannabis Distributor Transport Only, Self-distribution License for cannabis transportation; Applicant: Blackwell Capital Management, LLC/ Christopher Macleod; Location: 22004 Morgan Valley Road, Lower Lake (APN 012-069-25).

The hearing will take place both in-person and via Zoom.

The Agenda, Zoom information, staff report, and attachments will be posted online a minimum of 72 hours prior to the hearing on the County’s website at: https://countyoflake.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

For the Consideration and Presentation of the Fire Mitigation Fee Nexus Studies and Ordinance Amendment to Increase Fire Mitigation Fees

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors, County of Lake, State of California, will be conducting a PUBLIC HEARING on TUESDAY, April 16, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. or soon thereafter in the Board of Supervisors Chambers in the Courthouse located at 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA 95453. The purpose of the Public Hearing is for the Board of Supervisors to hear public testimony to determine whether to adopt the Fire Mitigation Fee Program and Nexus Study on behalf of the Lake County Fire Agencies.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the public or any affected parties may review the Nexus Study and other relevant documents at the office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, 255 North Forbes Street, Room 109, Lakeport, CA 95453. Members of the public may submit written comments on the matter to the Board of Supervisors prior to the public hearing and/or may appear at the public hearing and speak on the matter.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Board Chambers are handicapped accessible. If special accommodation is required because of a sensory or mobility impairment or disability, or if an interpreter is needed, please contact Stephen L. Carter, Jr. at 707-263-2580 to arrange for that accommodation.
