NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 

FOR CONSIDERATION OF THE ADOPTION OF CEQA DETERMINATION 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Lake Planning Commission will hold a public  hearing on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 9:20 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers located at 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, California 95453. 

CASE#: GPC 22-10 

OWNER/APPLICANT: COUNTY OF LAKE, PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT 

REQUEST: To improve public safety by replacing the existing Chalk Mountain Road Over North  Fork Cache Creek Bridge (Bridge No. 14C-0048) (Assessor’s Parcel Number 062-471-01, 02, 03,  062-481-03, 05). Bridge #14C-0048 is in the unincorporated Spring Valley in Lake County,  approximately 5.4 miles northeast of State Route 20. The Community Development Department,  Planning Division is processing the General Plan Conformity (GPC) application. 

ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: INITIAL STUDY IS 22-27 

LOCATION: The proposed project is located at Quad: Benmore Canyon T14N, R07W, Section  12 UTM Zone 10 (39.069939, -122.584140) 

SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT: 3 

STAFF PLANNER: LAURA HALL 

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that pursuant California Code of Regulations Title 14, Chapter 3,  Article 5, Section 15063, the County has prepared a Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) for  the proposed project. 

ALL INTERESTED PERSONS are invited to be present at the public hearing. All persons may  provide public comment at the time and place indicated above. Additional information regarding  this project may be obtained from Laura Hall, Senior Planner with the Community Development  Department at (707) 263-2221 or This email address is being protected from spambots. A staff report will be available for review 72 hours prior to the hearing upon request. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Lake Planning Commission will hold a public  hearing on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 9:15 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers located at 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, California 95453. 

CASE#: GPC 22-09 

OWNER/APPLICANT: COUNTY OF LAKE, PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT 

REQUEST: To improve public safety by replacing the existing Bartlett Springs Road Bridge over  Bartlett Creek (No 14C0099) (Assessor’s Parcel Number 004-037-15). Bridge #14C0099 is  located in a rural area of northeast Lake County, approximately 13.7 miles northeast of State  Route 20. Bartlett Springs Road is an Off-System Local Road that connects State Route 20 with  the rural area north of the Indian Valley Reservoir. The Community Development Department,  Planning Division is processing the General Plan Conformity (GPC) application.

LOCATION: The proposed project is located at Quad: Bartlett Springs T15N, R08W, Section 2  UTM Zone 10 (39.181913, -122.718796)
