Annual Clearlake Clean Up Day set for April 23
CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Volunteers will gather this weekend to spruce up the city of Clearlake as part of an annual event.
The Clearlake Clean Up Day will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 23.
The effort has been taking place for more than a decade.
Clearlake city staffer Adeline Brown, who helps coordinate the event, said that last year more than 70 volunteers picked up 100 yards of trash, debris and recyclables.
“We are looking forward to seeing more people volunteer this year,” Brown told Lake County News.
Check-in will take place at 8 a.m. at Austin Park. Bags and tools will be provided.
Electronic waste will be disposed of through Clearlake Electronics.
For more information, call Brown at 707-994-8201, Extension 111.
