SACRAMENTO - The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is reminding motorists about several new traffic laws passed by the Legislature and signed by the governor that took effect with the arrival of the new year.

LAKE COUNTY – The 109th Congress adjourned Dec. 9 before voting to renew a piece of legislation that funds schools and roads in rural communities throughout the United States.

UKIAH - The Mendocino College Board of Trustees has set meeting dates for 2007. Meetings will be held at the Ukiah campus Board Room, room 1060, 1000 Hensley Creek Road, with the exception of the June and August meetings.
