At its June meeting this week, the California Fish and Game Commission discussed endangered species listings, announced the 2020 Wildlife Prosecutor of the Year and approved projects for Duck Stamp funds.
LUCERNE, Calif. — The Lucerne Area Town Hall will meet on Friday, June 18.
The group will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Lucerne Hotel, 3700 Country Club Drive.
Agenda items include discussion and approval of a California Water Service Co. letter of intent, and discussion with Melinda Rivera of Pacific Gas and Electric regarding the company’s outlook for public safety power shut offs and overall wildfire safety efforts.
They also will receive an update on code enforcement in Lucerne from Andy Williams from Lake County Code Enforcement.
As California reopens following the pandemic, the Employment Development Department, or EDD, on Thursday announced that starting July 11, Californians receiving unemployment benefits should begin looking for work to maintain their eligibility.
