Since early November, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has been on the ground in California working around-the-clock to assist animals impacted by the unprecedented wildfires that devastated the state.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. – On Monday, Dec. 3, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency with assistance from the California Department of Toxic Substances Control, or DTSC, will begin to assess and remove household hazardous waste from burned properties in the town of Paradise and Butte County as part of the interagency response to the Camp fire.
