Museum closures planned for Thanksgiving holiday

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Lake County Public Services announced that the Historical Courthouse Museum in Lakeport, the Historic Schoolhouse Museum in Lower Lake and the Gibson Museum in Middletown will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22, and Friday, Nov. 23, for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Library announces days included in Thanksgiving holiday closure

Humane Society of the United States responds to Camp fire

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA – At the request of Butte County Animal Control, the Humane Society of the United States has sent an initial team, which is now on the ground, to provide sheltering support for evacuated, rescued and displaced animals from the Camp fire area.
