SANTA ROSA, Calif. – On Friday, May 17, more than 160 community members, business leaders and guests joined the American Red Cross of the California Northwest in honoring 10 inspirational community members for their selfless acts of courage at its 16th annual Real Heroes Breakfast.

SACRAMENTO – Horse-safety legislation from Sen. Bill Dodd, D-Napa, that gained support and urgency amid the continuing death of racing horses at Santa Anita Park cleared a key Assembly committee Thursday on its way to a floor vote, possibly as soon as next week.
