Public Services plans July 4 holiday closure

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The Lake County Public Services Department announced that the Eastlake Landfill and the Public Services office will be closed Thursday, July 4, in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.

PG&E encourages customers to update contact information to prepare for public safety power shutoffs

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA – Pacific Gas and Electric Co. is sending postcards to more than 240,000 customers encouraging them to update their mobile number, email and other key information so the company can contact them in advance should it become necessary to temporarily turn off power for safety this fire season.

Audit request of California Mobilehome Inspection Program approved

SACRAMENTO – On Wednesday, the Joint Legislative Audit Committee, or JLAC, approved an audit request by Senator Connie M. Leyva (D-Chino) to review the efficacy and ongoing issues related to the California Department of Housing and Community Development’s Mobilehome Inspection Program.
