MIDDLETOWN – Come experience the winter holiday season in small-town USA when the annual “Christmas in Middletown” event takes place Saturday, Dec. 12.
The event will take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., rain or shine, in downtown Middletown.
Minnie Cannon School will once again be offering a carnival in the gym and a live nativity will be seen on the White House porch.
Santa will be in front of Middletown Florist & Gifts located in the Middletown Plaza, handing out candy canes. Be sure to bring your camera for photos of your children with Santa.
Studio 175 will be hosting their annual Dutch Oven Goodness at the corner of Highway 175 and Bush Street.

It’s easy to join up with the music parade. The first 100 people to bring a portable CD player with batteries to the Middletown Florist & Gifts by 6 p.m. on Saturday will receive a Free CD of holiday music. At 6:30 p.m. everyone will start their CDs at the same time and parade through downtown. Pony rides will be available at Tri Counties Bank parking lot by Wiloth Equine Therapy and Riding Center.
