This training is geared towards to November elections for school boards, community service districts or November 2012 elections for supervisors and city councils.
“Women considering a first run for public office and political veterans should attend this valuable training to learn how to run to win without costly consultants and media budgets,” said Val Muchowski , CTA Women's Leadership Trainer and NWPC CA Vice President of Education and Training. “We’re also running a special track for people running for judge.”
Campaign skills training will be taught by NWPC certified trainers Estelle Clifton of Ukiah, Lynda McClure of Boonville and Val Muchowski of Philo. This training is open to all.
Besides skills training, the day-long session includes campaign handbook, lunch with a panel of politically knowledgeable women and a wine reception.
Topics include why run, getting started, fundraising, campaign team and endorsements.
Estelle Clifton of NWPC-Mendocino will moderate a luncheon panel of politically knowledgeable women.
