UPPER LAKE – The annual Easter egg hunt in Upper Lake will take place on Sunday, April 4.


The hunt will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Main Street in Upper Lake.


The event is sponsored by C&G Enterprises, the Upper Lake Community Council and the North Shore Business Association.

KELSEYVILLE – Step back in to time with Wildhurst Vineyards for its “Case of the Killer Cab” mystery dinner on Saturday, March 27.


Murder Us Productions will host a “killer” evening to die for beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Kelseyville's own I.O.O.F Hall (Wildhurst Tasting Room) on Main Street in Kelseyville.


Come laugh, enjoy a wonderful dinner, witness a crime and help solve a murder mystery. Tickets cost $60 per person.


The evening's theme will be a 1930's “speak easy.” Period costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded.

LAKEPORT – A joint reunion for the Lower Lake High School classes of 1959 through 1969 will be held this June, with three days of events for classmates.


All of the events will take place at Konocti Vista Casino Resort, 2755 Mission Rancheria Road in Lakeport.


A mixer will be held beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, June 11. The following morning a brunch will take place from 6 a.m. to noon.


The main reunion will take place on Saturday, June 12, from 7 p.m. to midnight. The dress is resort casual.


Registration and no-host cocktails will begin at 7 p.m., with dinner at 8 p.m. Dinner choices include prime rib, chicken breast, red snapper or pork tenderloin.


An awards ceremony will be held at 9 p.m., to be followed at 9:15 p.m. by a class photo. Music and dancing will begin at 9:30 p.m.


The festivities wrap up with a brunch from 6 a.m. to noon on Sunday, June 13.

NORTHSHORE – Lucerne Friends of Locally Owned Water (Lucerne FLOW) will hold two bake sales next month at locations in Nice and Lucerne.


The first bake sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 2, at Lakeview Market on Highway 20 in Lucerne.


They'll follow up with with a another bake sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 3, at Northshore Sentry Market, at the corner of the Nice-Lucerne Cutoff and Highway 20.

KELSEYVILLE – The annual spring dinner to benefit the Lake County Land Trust will be held on Tuesday, May 11, at the Saw Shop Gallery Bistro, 3825 Main St. in Kelseyville.


Social hour will start at 6 p.m. and a four course dinner will be served with wine at 7 p.m.


A highlight of the dinner is the sale of original works of art by Lake County artists who have donated to the Land Trust.


Services, food, and wine are graciously donated by the Saw Shop Gallery Bistro with the proceeds going towards the work of the Land Trust. Many thanks to Marie Beery, owner, for this generous donation.


Reservations are required and can be made by calling the Saw Shop at 707-278-0129.


Payment is taken the evening of the event. Tickets are $60 per person.

LAKE COUNTY – The First 5 Lake County Commission will hold its next regular meeting on Wednesday, March 24.


The meeting will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the Lake One-Stop EDD conference room in Lakeport.


Agenda items will include a public hearing on approving the 2008-09 First 5 California Annual Report, submission of two-year grant to Department of Mental Health in the amount of $36,000, acceptance of Kindergarten Data Entry Profile Report, presentation of ASQ III and the executive director’s report.
