The entire evening, which takes place in “Greystone Castle,” (also known as the Middletown Community United Methodist Church) is set during the Renaissance period, and the costumed hosts, servers, and entertainers will be in costume – and in character – throughout the event.
Entertainment includes a sit-down three-course feast in the Great Hall of Greystone Castle, while a “theater-in-the-round” drama unfolds around you. Renaissance and traditional Christmas music is sung by a lavishly costumed choir, and guests – known for the night as “nobles” – are invited to join in period dances and games.
Costumes are encouraged (but not required) – come as a noble, a peasant, a wench or even a pirate. Best-dressed guests may be recognized by the host.
Purchasers are eligible for a $20-per-ticket nonprofit donation for your tax return, as this is a major fundraiser for the support of vital local community services and programs such as emergency food distribution, parenting support groups, community outreach programs and more, which are sponsored by the Middletown Community United Methodist Church.
Begin the holidays with this spirit-soaring community celebration, and begin a Holiday Tradition for your family, friends, neighbors, club members, or co-workers. Tickets are a great gift, too.
