LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Yolanda Pisciotta Lico was born on Sept. 22, 1924, in San Jose, Calif. She went home to her family on Dec. 17, 2015.
Yolanda was a dedicated nurse who lovingly cared for others for over 50 years. She was also a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family dearly. Unfortunately, her last 15, or so, years were shared with Alzheimer's disease.
Yolanda will always be remembered for her selflessness, kind nature toward all living things, wacky sense of humor, love of telling stories and devotion to her faith. She served God well on this Earth, and it was time for her to finally “retire” and rest.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Maria; brother, John; and husband, Pete.
She leaves behind her dear sister, Mathilda; two sons, Marty and Steve; daughter, Marie; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, Dec. 29, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Kelseyville at 1 p.m.
Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or your local SPCA in Yolanda's memory.
