LAKEPORT, Calif. – Graveside services for Lorraine "Tee Dee" Cruz – who passed away Jan. 17, 2016 – will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, at St. Mary's Cemetery, 3295 Highway 175, Lakeport.

Visitation will be at her home, 1390 Soda Bay Road, Lakeport from 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, through noon Thursday, Jan. 21.

Rosary will be held Wednesday, Jan. 20, at 7 p.m.

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Dolores “Dee” Maxwell went to join the angels Jan. 14, 2016, at 82 years young.

She is survived by husband, Frank; daughters, Roxann, Cecilia, Kathy and Janice; their significant others; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Memorial Mass will be held at St. Peter's Church in Kelseyville on Friday, Jan. 22, at 1 p.m.

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – William Gerald Flynn III, a resident of Clearlake, passed away Jan. 7, 2016, at Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa.

He was 50 years old.

Bill is survived by his mother, Patricia Flynn, and his siblings, Amber, Michael and Terry.

He will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at the First Baptist Church of Clearlake.

He will be laid to rest at Lower Lake Cemetery.

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Jadie "Jay" Sullivan was born on Jan. 24, 1934, in Tulare, Calif., to Jadie and Leoma Sullivan.

On Jan. 12, 2016, at age 81, he passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Jay moved to Lakeport as a young boy, around 1947, attended school in Lakeport, and lived here all of his life.

He was in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1955 and was a veteran of the Korean War, where he served on the USS Fletche DDE 445 as 1st Class Machinist Mate.

In 1996 Jay retired from Kelseyville Lumber as store manager. He had also worked for Diamond Match, Piedmont Lumber and Pacific Lumber.

He served as a master of the Hartley Masonic Lodge No. 199 twice. He also served on the Lakeport City Council in the 1970s.

He loved pheasant hunting, fishing, skin diving and camping, as well as his dogs and all animals.
After he retired he and his wife Nancy spent time traveling in their RV and fishing at the coast.

Jay is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nancy; his children, Greg (Terrie) Sullivan of Lakeport, Karen Olaguez of Windsor, Lori Peters of Lakeport and Marci Hill of Healdsburg; grandchildren, Tara (Aaron) Olaguez-Krug, Lauren (Joe) Dwyer, Casey Sullivan, Adam Peters, Aaron Peters, Darrin (Dana) Hill, Valoree Sullivan and Justin Peters; great-grandchildren, Jayden Vera, Mia Vera, Klare Dwyer and Katie Dwyer; sister, Anita (Lorin) Boyd of Ukiah; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded by his brothers Donald and Lloyd Sullivan.

A memorial service will be held at Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary, 1625 N. High St. in Lakeport on Saturday, Jan. 23, at 2 p.m. with a reception following at the Lakeport Senior Center, 527 Konocti Ave.

Donations in his memory can be made to Meals on Wheels or the Lakeport Senior Center at 527 Konocti Ave., Lakeport, CA 95453.

Josephine was a resident of Nice, Calif.
