LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Sheri is survived by her significant other, Buster Jones and her sons, Jason and Derrick Johnson; four grandchildren, Neisa, Crystal, Jason Jr. and Carissa; three great-grandchildren; stepdaughter, Mary Jones (Kevin Burdick); three step-grandchildren and eight step-great grandchildren; three siblings, Doug, Kenton and Denise Blank; Uncle Al and Aunt Helen Patton; and many beloved friends in the community.

Sheri raised her two children by herself, working two jobs most of her life, with no government assistance. She owned the Hairquarters Beauty Shop and worked as a bartender.

A celebration of life will be held at the Boathouse in Nice on Saturday, June 1, at 1 p.m., sponsored by Buster Jones and Jason Johnson.

UPPER LAKE, Calif. – Services have been set in late May for Tamara Lisa Newby.

She ascended quietly and swiftly to her heavenly home on March 31, 2019.

Known to her infinite number of friends by countless nicknames, Tamara brought many smiles and great support to those who knew her. Her personality, caring nature and giving heart were larger than this life could contain.

Her family invites you to come by the United Methodist Church in Upper Lake, 604 Clover Valley Road, across from Upper Lake High School, on Saturday, May 25, anytime between 11:20 a.m. and 3:31 p.m. ( a wink and a nod to Tamara's date of birth and date of passing).

Wear your sports attire, favorite band t-shirt, shorts and "loud" Hawaiian summer prints, and casually share a memory, a hug, a tear, a laugh and some dessert.

To honor Tamara's wishes, brief and fitting, formal words and her chosen songs will be shared beginning at 1 p.m.

LUCERNE, Calif. – Glen H. Dillard passed away peacefully in his home in Lucerne on April 26, 2019.

He was a native of Oklahoma but had spent a large part of his life here in California.

He loved to fly and had his own Cessna aircraft which he flew frequently when he was younger.

He is survived by his son, Tommy Dillard and step-daughters, Linda Waterbury and Pam Williams; numerous grandchildren; as well as a niece, Carlene Deaton, of Arizona; and his long-time caregiver, Lynn Flagerman.

A memorial service will be held at Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary on Saturday, May 11, at 1 p.m.

Larry Roberts
March 14, 1954 - May 13, 2019

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Larry passed away after a long battle with COPD. He is survived by his wife, Becky; 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 10 siblings.

A memorial service will be at Becky and Larry's home on Saturday, May 18, at 2 p.m.

Dolores ‘Dee’ Wilcox
April 30, 1939 - May 3, 2019

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Dee was promoted to glory on May 3, 2019.

Visitation will be held at Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary on Monday, May 13, from 9 to 11 a.m. with a graveside funeral service to follow at Upper Lake Cemetery at 11:30 a.m.

Brenda Wesselhoff
July 1, 1949 - April 25, 2019

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Brenda passed away peacefully at home from ALS, with her family and friends around her.

Brenda was thoughtful and caring, she loved her family, friends, co-workers at Dr. Browning’s office and her cats. She was very active in the community with the Early Lake Lions Club and Relay for Life.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas; daughter, Melissa; siblings, grandchildren and a very big family and friends.
