CLEARLAKE OAKS, Calif. – Phillip Robert Parriott entered into rest at his home in Clearlake Oaks on Sunday, May 24, 2015.

A native of Napa, Calif., Phillip was 55 years old and had lived in Lake County for 40 years.

Phill was president of Star Touring & Riding Association Chapter 442 Clear Lake for 10 years.

Phill is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lori Parriott of Clearlake Oaks; daughters, Misti Rose Parriott  of Clearlake Oaks and Heather Breez Parriott of Clearlake; mother, Margret Warner of Clearlake; brothers, Butch Parriott of Hayward, Rusty Parriot of Smithville, Tenn., and Greg Parriott of Clearlake; sister, Suzi Parriott of Boise, Idaho; along with four grandchildren. Not to forget his loving dogs Sierra and China, both of Clearlake Oaks, along with hundreds of great friends!

Phill was preceded in death by his father, John Frank Parriott.

Friends and family are most welcome to attend a memorial service on Saturday, June 13, beginning at 1 p.m. at Jones & Lewis Clear Lake Memorial Chapel in Lower Lake.

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Edith Irene Landrum went home to be with the Lord on May 30, 2015.

She joins her husband of 72 years, Isaac. 

They had nine children, 27 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation and funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Monday, June 8, at Lakeport Christian Center, 455 S. Forbes St. Donations are appreciated.

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Barbara L. Forehand was born Feb. 9, 1935, and passed on May 27, 2015, after a courageous fight against cancer.

Barbara married T.H. Forehand in 1969.

She leaves her daughter, two grandchildren, two stepsons and a stepdaughter, and multiple step-grandchildren to forever carry on her memory. She loved and treated them like they were her own.

NICE, Calif. – James M. Holmes Jr. of Nice passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015.

He was born on June 5, 1927, in Los Angeles.

He is survived by his sister, Barbara Morris of Valencia; daughter, Chris Cole of Blue Lake; his son, Jim (Alice) of Lakeport; granddaughter, Emily of Nice; granddaughter, Kyla of Lakeport; great-grandson, Hunter of Nice; and many other family members and friends who all dearly loved him.

James was preceded in death by wife, Billie; sons, John and Gary Engstrom; and grandson, John.

He served in the Navy during World War II.

James was a self-employed business man his whole life. He moved to Lake County in 1963 to build Holiday Harbor in Nice.

During his lifetime he built other businesses. In his early 60s he built the home to which he retired.

In his younger years he enjoyed riding and racing motorcycles. He also traveled many miles in his motorhome. 

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 13, at the Upper Lake Cemetery.

CLEARLAKE OAKS, Calif. – George John Magnani Jr. had his sunrise on Nov. 11, 1924, in Oakland, Calif., with his sunset taking place on May 22, 2015, in Clearlake Oaks.

George left behind his loving wife of 59 years, Irene; daughter-in-law, Nanc; cousins, Rebecca and Maurice; nieces, Carol and Olive; nephews, Denny and Justin; and granddaughter, Phoebe.

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – John Barry Chase, age 70, died on May 12, 2015, after a brief illness.

A devoted son to Eileen O'Meara Chase and caring brother to Dan Chase, he leaves behind dear friends and family who miss him deeply. 

A memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary Immaculate Church, Lakeport at 11 a.m. June 19.
