LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Alisa Soledad Martinez Ramey Goebel passed away in the comfort of her home on Feb. 11, 2016, at 56 years old.

She was born on Nov. 11, 1959, to Alfredo and Raquel Martinez.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Ramey.

Her life was rooted in Kelseyville where she graduated from high school, worked for Kelseyville Unified, and raised her family and made lifelong friends.

Alisa’s love lives on in her husband, Dale; her children and their children, Nicole (Dave), Thomas (Gina), Michael (Sandra), Amy (Ryan), and Lisa, Cali, Addison, Avery, Olivia, Ethan, Brady and Isabella; and her brothers, Alfredo and Stephen (Andrea).

She was strong, independent, resourceful and beautifully infectious.

Rosary service will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Kelseyville on Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church on Thursday, Feb. 18, at 11 a.m. with interment at Kelseyville Cemetery.

Josephine K. Martin
Dec. 20, 1928 – Feb. 8, 2016

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Josephine was the mother of four children: Gloria Lillie of Clearlake, Calif., Lorraine Bailey of Mesa, Ariz., Stanley Smith of Clearlake, and Don Lillie of Newark, Calif; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren resulting in four generations.

Josephine knew her Lord and knew that going home to be with Him was her ultimate goal. In the meantime she enjoyed all that she could including dancing, crocheting, Eagles Club ceramics, and she especially loved her dogs and her family.

At the age of 88 the good Lord sent for her to be with Him. Please be happy for her, she is where she wants to be.

Visitation will be held at the First Assembly of God, 4472 Snook Ave. in Clearlake, on Friday, Feb. 19, from 9 to 11 a.m.

A funeral service will follow at the church at 11 a.m. with interment at Lower Lake Cemetery.

Joanne Marie Kunz
March 1, 1933-Jan. 27, 2016

I lost my beloved Joanne.

I would like to express my utmost gratitude to Sutter Lakeside and their Nurses, Dr. Turrill and staff, Evergreen Health Care and nurses, especially Dina!

Joanne had wonderful care! She is out of pain and with her Lord.

Laurence 'Larry' Torrey
July 26, 1938 – Feb. 10, 2016

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Larry served in the US Navy from 1955 to 1959. He was employed as a truck driver and after retiring he worked part-time at the California Conservation Corp in Ukiah.

He was made an honorary member of the Lake County Pearl Harbor survivors, volunteered as a driver for the veterans and was a senior volunteer for the California Highway Patrol.

Larry is survived by his wife, Arlene; two daughters, Erica and Lisa; and his two granddaughters, Jessie Greer and Lindsey Silva.

He enjoyed spending time with is granddaughters, watching football, fishing and Volkswagens.

LAKEPORT, Calif. – Dolores “Jeanne” Mayer, 78, peacefully passed on her sleep the night of Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, at her home in Lakeport.

She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Jeanne Anderson and Anita Sue Hunter; her, brother, Robert D. Heard; nephew, Christopher Heard; and her grandchildren, Ashley A. Anderson, David A. Anderson, Katrina J Anderson and Eric J Quintero.

Memorial services will be at Jones Mortuary on Wednesday, Feb. 10.

LAKEPORT, Calif. – Nema Krystal Sprock Spitler passed into eternal life on Jan. 30, 2016, after a long illness.

She was proceeded in death by her mother, Lenora Sprock.

She is survived by her father, Therman (Dutch) Sprock; son, Jayson (Lisa) Opdyke; daughters, Reisha Spitler and Lisa (Derek) Squitieri; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and aunts and uncles. 

She was born in Sacramento, Calif., on Christmas Day in 1958.

At age 3, she moved with her family to Reno, Nev., until 1973 when her parents moved back to California where she graduated from high school in Auburn, Calif.

She later resided in Ft. Bragg, Calif., with her husband, Greg and family, and then in Modesto, Calif., with her second husband, Wally. 

She was a resident of the Evergreen Skilled Nursing Care Center in Lakeport for several years until her death.

She was a devoted Christian and her most prized possession was her Bible. She will be missed by her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary, 1625 N. High St. in Lakeport on Monday, Feb. 8, at 2 p.m.
