Beulah Wilder
LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Beulah Mae Wilder passed away peacefully at home the morning of July 5, 2018, allowing those who knew her to be blessed with her presence for 96 years.
Always opening her kind heart, and home welcoming all; and freely sharing her culinary skills, along with knowledge and southern hospitality.
Beulah loved spending time with her family; enjoying her trips to the local casinos; continuing the occasional weekend Reno tradition established by her husband “Ike,” who preceded her in death.
Their loving relationship resulted in eight children, primarily raised in Oakland, Calif. They loved spending family time; whether at home, enjoying the outdoors camping, fishing or even going on Sunday picnics.
Visiting and hosting family was extremely important to her. When life slowed down, she enjoyed sitting watching and listening to all current events going on around her, especially in her community of Clearlake, which has been her home for 49 years.
Beulah was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac; sons, Sidney and John Isaac. And leaves to celebrate her life a sister, Mary Dyer; her sons, Cornell and Ricky; daughters, Rose, Barbara, Sheila (husband James) and Frances (husband Claudius); and 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services for her homegoing will be on Friday, July 13, at Jones and Lewis Clearlake Memorial Chapel in Lower Lake at 2 p.m.
“Our deepest gratitude to those who spent time supporting her.”
