Road update for week of Jan. 12-19

 

Lakeview Drive

- The county Department of Public Works reports that Lakeview Drive at Cherry Lane will be closed to through traffice from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 16 for installation of a manufactured home. Local traffic will be allowed access to and from the property.


Highway 175

- There will be one-way controlled traffic at various locations from the Mendocino/Lake County line to 4.2 miles east of the line from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday through Jan. 18 due to maintenance. Expected delays: 10 minutes.

- Caltrans will continue to perform vegetation control from the Mendocino County line to 2.6 miles west of Mathews Road. Work hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weekdays. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Expected delays: 10 minutes.

- PG&E of Eureka has been granted a Caltrans encroachment permit for tree trimming from 1.3 miles west of Red Hill Road to Bottle Rock Road beginning Monday, Jan. 15. Work hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., weekdays. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Expected delays: 5 minutes.

 

 

Highway 20

- Repair of a slip out from 0.1 miles east of Verna Way to 0.3 miles east of Verna Way will continue. Work hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Expected delays: 10 minutes. Contractor: Granite Construction Co., Ukiah.


Highway 29

- Caltrans is scheduled to perform vegetation removal near the Bar X Ranch beginning Tuesday, Jan. 16. Work hours are 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weekdays. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Expected delays: 5 minutes.
